The short version

In a Hub, select Invite, enter an email address in Your team, choose Editor, Commenter, or Viewer, and send the invitation. The person joins as a Hub guest, separate from workspace membership.

Invite clients and collaborators to a project as Hub guests. Their Editor, Commenter, or Viewer role controls what they can do in that Hub, and the invitation does not add them to workspace membership.

Invite someone

  1. Open the Hub. Go to the Hub you want to share.
  2. Open Your team. Click Invite to open Your team for the Hub.
  3. Enter their email. Type the email address of the person you want to add.
  4. Set their access. Choose whether they can edit, comment, or view, then send the invite.

Pending and joined members

Someone who already has a Visualist account joins the Hub right away. Someone new shows as Pending until they accept the invite and sign in. Hub guests are free and unlimited.

Good to know

Inviting someone gives them role-based access to the Hub and its contents. To choose what each person can do, see What can each role do?.

Share one item instead

Select Share to web for the item to open its sharing dialog. Enable Public link, then select Copy link and send it to the recipient. The public link exposes only that item and does not require a Visualist account. Public design links allow comments but do not give editing access. To stop public access, reopen the dialog and disable Public link. See What can clients see in Visualist?.
