How do I share a moodboard with a client?

The short version

From the moodboard’s tab menu in Canvas, select Share to web, enable Public link, and choose Copy link. Clients can view and comment without a Visualist account.

Share the moodboard

  1. Open the moodboard. Open the moodboard in Canvas that you want to share.
  2. Open the sharing dialog. Open the moodboard’s tab menu and select Share to web.
  3. Enable and copy the public link. Enable Public link in the dialog, then select Copy link.
  4. Send it. Send the copied link to your client.

What the client sees

The client opens a full-screen view of the moodboard in their browser. The public page contains only the shared design. Clients can comment but cannot edit it or access the rest of the Hub through this link. Comments on that public share return to the moodboard in Visualist.

Good to know

Anyone with the public link can open the moodboard. Send it only to people you want to share it with.

Stopping access later

Open the moodboard’s tab menu and select Share to web to reopen the dialog. Disable Public link to stop public access without deleting the moodboard.
