How do I connect my email inbox to Visualist?

The short version

Open Account, go to Integrations, connect Google, and keep Gmail enabled. The connected Gmail account works in Emails and Hub Message Centers.

Connect Google to use Gmail for client email inside Visualist. The Gmail connection belongs to your Visualist account, so it is available from Emails and Hub Message Centers.

Connect Gmail

  1. Open Integrations. Open Account, then select Integrations.
  2. Connect Google. On the Google card, click Connect Google.
  3. Authorize Google. Complete the Google authorization flow, then return to Visualist.
  4. Confirm Gmail is enabled. The Google card shows the connected account and separate switches for Google services. Keep the Gmail switch on to use the account in Emails and Hub Message Centers.

You can also open Emails and click Connect your email when no Gmail account is active. This opens the direct Google connection flow.

Managing the connection

Use the Gmail switch to pause or resume Gmail while leaving the Google connection in place. Click Disconnect on the Google card to disconnect Google from Visualist.

Good to know

The Gmail connection belongs to your Visualist account. Use Emails for workspace-level mail, and use a Hub Message Center when the conversation belongs with a specific project.
