The short version

Open a hub's Google Drive integration card, click Connect Google account, and approve access on Google's screen. Once connected, you can link Drive files into that hub, refresh them from the card, and disconnect any time.

Connecting Google Drive lets you link Drive files into a hub without re-uploading them, so your project files sit next to the rest of the work.

Connect your account from a hub

  1. Open the hub. Open the hub where you want the Drive files to appear.
  2. Find Google Drive integration. In the hub, find the Google Drive integration card.
  3. Connect Google account. Click Connect Google account, then sign in to Google and approve the access Visualist asks for.

Once connected, the card shows the account email and a Disconnect button.

After connecting, you can add Drive files to the same hub:

  1. Choose Link Drive files. Use Link Drive files on the Drive card.
  2. Pick the files you want. Select the Drive files you want to appear in this hub.
  3. Refresh linked files when needed. Use Refresh all linked files on the card to pull the latest state from Drive.
Good to know

Drive permissions are still managed in Google. Make sure the people who need a file already have access there before you link it into the hub.

Disconnect Google Drive

To remove the connection, click Disconnect on the same Google Drive integration card. This removes the live connection without deleting the hub itself.

To add files that are not in Drive, see How do I upload images and files?.
